I did use a map ( found here) for finding all of the goodies, but many of them can be found by being observant ( cough keep your eyes peeled for symbols on the ground cough).Īlso, there's a trick with guns where you can swing your sword AND fire the gun near simultaneously (the swing animation cancels the gun animation or something like that). Finishing the game on Expert mode and Naked Boss Rush mode are two of my favorite gaming achievements ever. But lo and behold, once you master the combat and movement, you feel AMAZING. At first, I was struggling with some of the timing of combat and movement, and when I saw there was a boss rush mode where you have to beat each one consecutively with next to no upgrades and only 5 health packs, I thought I'd never be able to do it. One piece of encouragement is just to keep playing. I always went North, East, West, South in my playthroughs (I 100%'d it).
